Visit Kouen Mountain waterfall, Beng Mealea temple, and Ancient Quarry

Drive North out of the City through the countryside to Koulen Mountain. First, you’ll spend about 40 minutes visit the “Amazing Cliff” viewpoint on Phnom Kulen certainly lives up to its name. The alien landscape formed by the smooth orange rock formations contrasts strongly with the green of the surrounding jungle

Next, we’ll visit the Buddhist Pagoda, see the Buddha statues, and observe people praying. We’ll also see the Siva Linga, where you may want to pour water and collect the holy water. You’ll wander through the Temple and climb up to view the Giant Reclining Buddha statue.  We’ll spend 15 minutes trekking through the village to the Waterfall. There, you may want to swim and relax.  We’ll move the River of thousands Siva Lingas, spend 30 minutes walking along the riverbank, and view hundreds of  Siva Lingas carved into the sandstone Riverbed. It is said that King Jayavaraman II bathed in this water and believed it to be holy.

Then, we’ll take 1 hour drive to explore the interesting Temple outside the Angkor area.  With your expert Tour Guide, you’ll enter the Temple from the West Gate, walk through the Jungle Path to the central Temple, and creep around the Sanctuary to view the Trees overgrow on the Towers and Galleries. Then, you’ll venture deep into the central and up to the upper terraces of this truly great temple by walking on the wooden bridge to photograph this incredible site.

Next up, If the time permits, the Guide will take you to the Ancient Quarry (the Place where ancient Khmer people cut the Stones to build Angkor Wat).
