Start your day with a drive to Kbal Spean, located deep in the jungle. Walk 1.5 kilometers up a hill to see thousands of Siva linga carved on the riverbed, along with depictions of Reclining Vishnu and other Hindu gods carved into the rock.
Next, visit Beng Mealea. Enter the temple from the West Gate and walk through the jungle path to the central temple. Explore the sanctuary and admire the trees overgrowing on the towers and galleries. Venture deep into the central area and up to the upper terraces of this truly great temple by walking on the wooden bridge to photograph this incredible site.
Finally, explore the ancient quarry where the Khmer took stones to build Angkor Wat. Learn how the stones were cut and transported to the Angkor Wat area.
